Matteo Licitra
Was born in 1951, lives and works between Milano and Romagna, architect, designer, farmer, artist, sculptor and
painter, performer, atonal musician who proposes pieces with strongly emotional impact.
Matteo is, also, expert and researcher on the work of his grandfather Gio Ponti, disappeared worldwide well known
architect and designer, he organized events, conferences and concerts inspired from his work in Sweden, France and Italy,
visiting professor in Mexico (seminar on the creativity) and in Cuba (the interior design concept in the work of Gio Ponti).
He participates at various multi-medial events as musician and as artist, at the Venice Art Biennial, the London Biennial and
the Liverpool Biennial, in various art galleries in Italy and all over the World, from the Prato Pecci Museum and the Museion
of Bolzano, to the Botanique Musée in Bruxelles, music and concerts with important partners from Freddie Hubbard to
John Cage, Don Buchla to Riccardo Sinigaglia, Gabin Dabirè, Alzek Misheff and to Emanuel Pimenta.
